The Naugatuck Y Child Care Center is a NAEYC® accredited program that creates a comfortable, safe, nurturing and secure environment which allows each child to develop his/her sense of self. We build their self-esteem, sense of belonging, and sense of accomplishment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development appropriate to each child’s age and development. We are a State of Connecticut licensed program and an official CACFP site that provides daily breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Our infant and toddler rooms and school readiness preschool program are open to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are located inside the main building of the Naugatuck YMCA at 284 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770. All forms for the Child Care Center can be found at the Welcome Center or downloaded here.

Infant & Toddler Rooms:
Our infant and toddler rooms have full-time and part day slots. Full day slots are Monday – Friday any portion of 7:00am – 5:30pm. Part time slots are either Monday, Wednesday & Friday or Tuesday & Thursday any portion of 7:00am – 5:30pm.

School Readiness Preschool:
Our school readiness preschool program is a full day, full year program that children come Monday – Friday any portion of 7:00am – 5:30pm. We offer a sliding scale tuition, accept Care4Kids and offer financial assistance for families who qualify.
