Water Fitness

The Y offers robust classes that challenge you physically and provide a community to support you through your fitness journey. In joining us, anticipate greater mobility, reduced pain and fatigue, increased muscle strength and enhanced sleep quality. Work with the instructor to workout at your own ability level during a variety of our water exercise classes.

Available Classes

Aquamotion

An aerobic water workout reducing impact on joints and increasing cardiovascular endurance.

Aquafit

Moderate intensity water aerobics. This class includes a cardiovascular workout followed by toning exercises using a variety of equipment in the water.

Deep Water Aquafit

Moderate intensity water aerobics held in the deep end of the pool. This class includes a cardiovascular workout followed by toning exercises using a variety of equipment in the water.

Aquablast

High intensity water aerobics, helping make you more flexible and fit. This class emphasizes core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in shallow water.
